چکیده

Internet of Things (IoT) is producing an extraordinary volume data daily, and it possible that the may become useless while on its way to cloud, due long distances. Fog/edge computing a new model for analysing acting time-sensitive data, adjacent where produced. Further, cloud services provided by large companies such as Google, can also be localised improve response time service agility. This accomplished through deploying small-scale datacentres in various locations, needed proximity users; connected centralised establish multi-access edge (MEC). The MEC setup involves three parties, i.e., providers (IaaS), application (SaaS), network (NaaS); which might have different goals, therefore, making resource management difficult. Unlike existing literature, we consider with respect all parties; suggest game-theoretic techniques minimise infrastructure energy consumption costs ensuring applications’ performance. Our empirical evaluation, using Google’s workload traces, suggests our approach could reduce up 11.95 percent consumption, $\sim$ 17.86% user negligible loss Moreover, IaaS 20.27 bills NaaS increase their costs-savings 18.52 compared other methods.

A Game Theoretical Energy Efficient Resource Allocation Technique for Large Distributed Computing Systems

The problem of mapping tasks onto a computational grid with the aim to minimize the power consumption and the makespan subject to the constraints of deadlines and architectural requirements is considered in this paper. To solve this problem, we propose a solution from cooperative game theory based on the concept of Nash Bargaining Solution. The proposed game theoretical technique is compared ag...

Development and Analysis of a Novel Multi-Mode MPPT Technique with Fast and Efficient Performance for PMSG-Based Wind Energy Conversion Systems

Wind energy is one of the most promising renewable energy resources. Due to instantaneous variations of the wind speed, an appropriate Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method is necessary for maximizing the captured energy from the wind at different speeds. The most commonly used MPPT algorithms are Tip Speed Ratio (TSR), Power Signal Feedback (PSF), Optimal Torque Control (OTC) and Hill Cli...

Energy Efficient Dynamic Resource Allocation Technique in Mobile Cloud Computing

− Energy consumption of massive scale mobile cloud data centers is increasing unacceptably. It is the most challenging field of concern these days. So there is a need to improve the energy efficiency of such data centers using server consolidation which aims at minimizing the number of active physical machines in a data center. As the analysis has shown that by applying suitable optimization po...
